Marsden Wheeler Time Trial results
Kia ora everyone
It was great to see so many riders young and not so young, new and regulars at the Kokopu School. Coaching elaborated on the key components of time trialing – Aerodynamics, Power and Focus. Everyone had a chance to put their skills into action over the flattish terrain on Kokopu Road.
The large MWers road cones marked the turns but unfortunately due to road works they were not the only cones on the road side as Nadya discovered as she beat Mat Z home. Phil and Matthew M certainly looked the best but Tim had recovered well from the 4 day tour to record fastest time in the 23km distance.
Jonathan took photos of every rider and will email out a shot to each rider over the next week.
Thanks to the enthusiastic crowd on the start/finish line that helped with the start, took times and cheered us on.
Next session – Handicapped Road Race 18 or 36km – Sat 10th April at Kokopu School
