Kara-Kerehunga Rtn 35km
Fast Group
Lee attacked a few km in: Tim and Sam were unable to respond. Elliot, Jonathan and Lee then dropped Mathew and Shaughan on Whatatiri Hill. On the return, Lee attacked when Jonathan decided to take a turn, and was followed to the line by Elliot. Matthew out sprinted Shaughan, whose form is coming back, whilst Tim came in just ahead of Sam.
Medium Group
In the medium group, Gordon and Kevin dropped the rest of the group on the hill climb. Gordon got away, and stayed away until the line, whilst Kevin was overtaken by Dave and Brett. Not one to give up, Kevin caught Brett, and came round him just before the line.
Short Distance
Ben rode well despite a cold, Ruth keeping Brooke company. Gavin decided to make his course longer!

The next club ride is on Saturday 1 November out at Ruatangata Hall – Wright Road return (33km long course and 18km short course).
This coming weekend Ben E, Lee, Ruth, Fiona and Mathew are going to be representing the Marsden Wheelers at the Club Nationals in Wanganui.
